Sri Lanka 50 all out: Check the 10 lowest ODI scores vs India ever

NEW DELHI: India pacers wreaked havoc at R Premadasa Stadium on Sunday, bowling Sri Lanka out for a lowly 50 in the Asia Cup final. It was the lowest score Team India has bowled out an opposition in the One Day Internationals ever.

The previous lowest total against India in ODIs was 58 by Bangladesh in Mirpur in 2014.
It is also the second lowest total ever for Sri Lanka in ODIs, as five batters were dismissed for naught.Only two batters, Kusal Mendis (17) and Dushan Hemantha (13*) were in double digits for the hosts.
Sri Lanka’s record of lowest total in ODIs remains 43 vs South Africa at Paarl in 2012.
Led by a fiery Mohammed Siraj, who took four wickets in one over before returning impressive figures of 6/21, India pacers bundled the hosts out for 50 in just 15.2 overs in Colombo.
Siraj triggered the Sri Lanka collapse with a four-wicket over in the fourth over, when he dismissed Nissanka, Samarawickrama, Asalanka and Dhananjaya to leave them reeling at 12 for 5 in 4 overs. This after
Jasprit Bumrah (1/23) provided India an early breakthrough in the first over, removing Kusal Perera for a duck.
Siraj then came back in the sixth over to complete his five-wicket haul with the wicket of skipper Dasun Shanaka.
After a brief calm, Siraj came back to grab his sixth wicket in the 12th over as he clean bowled Kusal Mendis to leave Sri Lanka tottering at 33/7 in 11.2 overs.
Hardik Pandya (3/3 in 2.2 overs) then wrapped up the tail by dismissing Dunith Wellalage, Pramod Madushan and Matheesha Pathirana, the last two in successive deliveries.
