NEW DELHI: Chennai Super Kings star batsman Suresh Raina will miss the entire IPL this year due to personal reasons. Raina, who was in Dubai with the CSK squad for the 13th edition of the tournament has returned to India.
The IPL, this year is set to take place from September 19 at three venues in the UAE.
“Suresh Raina has returned to India for personal reasons and will be unavailable for the remainder of the IPL season. Chennai Super Kings offers complete support to Suresh and his family during this time, said KS Viswanathan CEO via a tweet from the official CSK handle.
It’s unclear at the moment why exactly Raina has returned home and will not be available for the entire tournament.

This comes after multiple members of the CSK team tested positive for the Coronavirus in Dubai and the team was quarantined.
