Aaj Ka Panchang, May 11, 2024: The auspicious festival of Vinayaka Chaturthi is observed across the country.
AAJ KA PANCHANG, 11 MAY, 2024: The Chaturthi Tithi and Panchami Tithi of Shukla Paksha are slated to occur on Saturday, May 11, according to Drik Panchang. On this day, the auspicious festival of Vinayaka Chaturthi will be observed. In the Hindu calendar, each lunar month is divided into two Chaturthi Tithis. According to Hindu scriptures, Lord Ganesha is associated with the Chaturthi Tithi(s). Vinayaka Chaturthi occurs after Amavasya or the new moon during Shukla Paksha, while Sankashti Chaturthi occurs after Purnima or the full moon during Krishna Paksha.
As a result, when organising any event or activity, it is critical to consider not just the tithi but also the auspicious or inauspicious times linked with it.
SUNRISE, SUNSET, MOONRISE, AND MOONSET ON MAY 11
It is predicted that the sun will rise at 5:33 AM and set at 7:03 PM. That being said, the moon is expected to rise around 7:53 AM and set at 10:45 PM.
TITHI, NAKSHATRA, AND RASHI DETAILS FOR MAY 11
The Chaturthi Tithi is expected to remain till 2:03 AM, following which it will transition to the Panchami Tithi. The inauspicious Mrigashirsha Nakshatra will last until 10:15 AM, after which the auspicious Ardra Nakshatra will take over. The moon will be in Mithuna Rashi (Gemini), while the sun will be in Mesha Rashi (Aries).
SHUBH MUHURAT FOR MAY 11
As for the auspicious muhurat (timing) on this day: the Brahma Muhurta is scheduled to occur from 4:09 AM to 4:51 AM, followed by the Vijaya Muhurta from 2:33 PM to 3:27 PM, and the Godhuli Muhurat from 7:01 PM to 7:22 PM. Nishita Muhurta is anticipated to occur between 11:56 PM and 12:38 AM on May 12, while the Pratah Sandhya Muhurta is expected to take place from 4:30 AM to 5:33 AM. The Dur Muhurtam is predicted to occur in two phases: first from 5:33 AM to 6:27 AM and the second from 6:27 AM to 7:21 AM. The Varjyam Muhurta is anticipated to occur from 6:43 PM to 8:20 PM.
