‘Maa kasam khale, nahi lega’: Pant and Kuldeep’s hilarious banter. Watch
NEW DELHI: Well known for being chirpy behind the stumps, keeper-batter Rishabh Pant on Sunday was engaged in a hilarious banter with India teammate Kuldeep Yadav during the Duleep Trophy game in Bengaluru.
As Pant’s India B looked to dismiss India A in their second innings, Pant was caught on stump mic, teasing Kuldeep.
The incident took place in the 41st over of India A chase in the fourth innings when Kuldeep struck the fifth ball of the Sai Kishore over to the fence on the on-side.
Soon after the boundary, Pant was heard asking the players to close in, anticipating that Kuldeep would be taking a single off the last ball of the over.
Kuldeep then said that he won’t do it to which Pant responded asking to swear on his mother.
Riding on Musheer Khan’s 181 in first innings and Pant’s quickfire 61 in the second, India B won the contest by 79 runs.
Musheer was adjudged Player of the Match for his superb knock in the first innings.
India B next face India C in Anantapur from September 12.
