Watch: Trump shooter on roof, Secret Services snipers take aim at him
“You can see the guy there. I think they hit him. The guy… he looks dead,” said a man pointing towards the suspected shooter who fired gunshots at Donald Trump’s rally in Pennsylvania.
A video verified by some news organizations has emerged on social media, showing the person, suspected of shooting at Donald Trump rally, lying motionless on the rooftop of a small structure, situated about 400 feet north of the stage where Trump was delivering his speech.
The position of the body aligns with the probable shooting location. An examination of the gunshot audio revealed that it originated from roughly the same distance as the body’s placement, the New York Times reported. Furthermore, the wound on Trump’s right ear, as he faced northwest, was also consistent with gunfire from that direction.
The building from which the sniper’s body was subsequently recovered is part of the AGR International, Inc complex, a company that specializes in providing automation equipment for the glass and plastic packaging industry. The company’s property directly borders the Butler Farm Show grounds where Trump’s rally was held.
Another video circulating on social media platforms has captured the swift response of Secret Service snipers.
The footage, which has gained significant traction on X (formerly Twitter), shows two snipers strategically positioned on the roof of a nearby building. In the video, one of the snipers can be seen abruptly raising his head, likely having identified the shooter’s location. Immediately following this, both snipers engage and return fire.
The gunman, who was neutralised by the Secret Service, took aim at the ex-President from an elevated position.
