Yamraj to greet those harassing women: CM Yogi in Muzaffarnagar
LUCKNOW: CM Yogi Adityanath on Thursday announced that the state will provide 2 lakh govt jobs in next two years. Attending a district-level employment and loan fair in Muzaffarnagar, the CM handed out appointment letters to over 5,000 youths. Over 50 reputed firms attended the event which marks a significant step towards addressing unemployment in the region.
CM Yogi also distributed loans worth over Rs 30 crore to selected beneficiaries and MSME entrepreneurs, empowering them to expand their businesses and contribute to local economy.In a move to further support the younger generation, he provided tablets and smartphones to over 1,000 youths under Swami Vivekananda Yuva Sashaktikaran Yojana, equipping them with the tools needed for modern education and skill development.
Earlier, job opportunities were withheld from the youth of Western UP, but now both young men and women from this region ar e securing jobs. From Friday, the recruitment process for over 60,000 police positions will commence. Local youth must actively participa te in the upcoming govt job opportunities, and no one will be able to question your capabilities,” the CM said, adding that anyone attempting to jeopardise the future of the youth will be imprisoned and their properties will be confiscated and distributed among the poor.
Alleging that Samajwadi Party supports criminals who commit atrocities against women, Yogi s aid that anyone endangering the safety of women would face severe consequences.
Insisting that supporting those who misbehaved with women was the “SP model”, Yo gi said, “Jo betiy on ki suraksha ke saath khilwar karega to agle chaurahe par uska intezar Yamraj karte milenge (those who play with the security of women will be greeted by deity of death at the next crossing).”
The CM paid homage to former PM Chaudhary Charan Singh and said that Muzaffarnagar was getting projects worth hundreds of crores, particular ly benefiting the Mirapur constituency. He added that Muzaffarnagar, which was engulfed in riots a decade back, was now riotfree and was hosting grand Kanwar Yatra celebrations. The region, he said, is now recognised for its development, security, employment opportunities, and govt jobs.
The CM announced that the state govt had a concrete action plan to expand the Mawana sugar mill.
Hitting out at Opposition parties, the CM said that previously, no one wanted to come to UP, and people were fleeing from places like Kairana. Now, instead of leaving, industries were inv esting heavily in the area. Airports were being built in Saharanpur and Jewar, and the highway network was being strengthened. He criticised those who were seeking to divide the country and incite riots.
Talking about the development of the region, the CM said that legislators had proposed projects for 38 roads in Muzaffarnagar, and a mini stadium had recently been inaugurated. He said that the govt had appointed Parul Chaudhary, a gold medallist from the Commonwealth Games, as Deputy SP. The state was constructing its first sports university in Meerut while the govt had provided jobs to 500 athletes. Any youth who wins a medal for the country will be assured a govt job in UP, he said.
