As Hardik’s finishing woes continue, Pathan says its a ‘big worry’
NEW DELHI: Scoring a mere 10 runs off 10 balls at the death, big-hitting Hardik Pandya once again fell flat in the clash against Rajasthan Royals in Jaipur on Monday.
And this is not the first time Hardik has struggled for runs, this season.
Unable to provide a final flourish, Hardik’s finishing woes continue to be a big talking point in this IPL.
Former India T20 World Cup winner Irfan Pathan weighed in on Hardik’s poor run with the bat and said that it’s a big worry for the franchise and Team India.
With the T20 World Cup around the corner and Hardik unable to fire, it comes as a major issue for the Team India management as well.
In the 8 matches played this season so far, Hardik has managed just 151 runs at a lowly average of 21.57.
His strike rate — 142.45 — too has gone down when compared to previous seasons.
With three wins and five losses this season, MI currently sit at the 7th spot on the points table.
